LDA is located in the 'Cosmopolitan Hotel / The Private Club' in Dekweneh, a medium sized resort containing a 4 stars Hotel with 50 rooms, 3 covered Tennis courts, 1 indoor Basket ball court, 2 outdoor & 1 indoor Swimming pool, a Gym & Fitness center, a Restaurant & Club house, a nursery, a pain clinic center as well as the 'Light FM' radio station studios.
The building is partly redesigned to form a specialist training centre for the performing art of Dance in addition to Fitness & Martial Arts activities. Its 450 square meter provides 5 dance rooms with wooden flooring & mirrors equipped with electrical devices needed for Dance training and research. Moreover, the Club house contains a 160 square meter wooden floor specialized for Latin and Ballroom ( including Salsa & Tango ) Dance Parties.
In March 1998, Ivan Samaha launched the first Latin & Ballroom Dance Class at 'The Private Club'.
In October 2001, Ivan merges his dance students from Rimal & Sagesse Clubs with the Private Club & founded the 'Private Club Dance Studios' incorporating additional dance styles, such as Modern Jazz, Classical Ballet & Street dance.
In May 2004 the brand name 'Lebanon Dance Academy' was adopted & the institution was officially under-formation.
It is not until June 2005 that Lebanon Dance Academy was legalized by a presidential decree under the registration number : 14535 approved by the Prime Minister & the Ministry of Pedagogy & High Education.
