Maysoun grew up in the Lebanese mountains and inhaled its pure air surrounded by kind people and filled by peace of mind. She spent her childhood at her grandmother's kitchen who loved to pass her everything her hands learned in cooking the most Delicious food. So together they prepared the best food using the goods and the treasure of the Lebanese lands, from different greenness' to different spices and flavors .
In the 70's, Maysoun immigrated to the Emirates where her reputation got spread in the entire world specially her love and passion of cooking.
Until she decided to come back to her mother land. She got set in Zalka-Amaret Chalhoub. Inaugurated a restaurant where she combines the smell of mountains to the culture of the city. Maysoun was identified by her kindness , her described beauty and her self-confidence although rare were the persons who observed her.
And today, she invites all the people who desire to experience what her hands produce in a bouquet of traditions mixed with the land's beauty and a dreaming music that merges the spirit of her restaurant with each melody and each 'bouchee' to the deep norms of Lebanon.
