Beirut
Having won nearly 30 prestigious international awards, Chateau Ksara is arguably Lebanon's most successful wine maker and brand. Ksara has 5 vineyards scattered throughout the East part of the country in and around Bekaa. Chateau Ksara actually began in 1857 when it was acquired by Jesuit Fathers and soon thereafter the Jesuits knowledge and craft succeeded in producing Lebanon's first dry red wine.
The vineyards are in Ksara Estate, Mansoura, Kanafar, Tanail and Tal Dnoub. The average yield from the vineyards is about 40-45hl/ha.
